Cooperation between ISD and the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine

The International Service Demining (ISD, Ukraine) cooperates with the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine to enhance the national system of humanitarian demining and accelerate the safe return of agricultural lands and critical infrastructure to civilian use.

This partnership focuses on developing effective mechanisms for coordinating mine action operators, ensuring compliance with international IMAS standards, and improving transparency in the certification and monitoring of demining activities.

The Ministry of Economy of Ukraine is the central executive authority that coordinates humanitarian demining efforts at the national level, manages the State Register of Mine Action Operators, and promotes international cooperation in restoring Ukraine’s economic potential.

Cooperation between ISD and the Ministry aims to strengthen Ukraine’s mine action capabilities and ensure that demining contributes directly to the country’s recovery and sustainable development.
