Cooperation between ISD and the Mine Action Center

International Service Demining (ISD, Ukraine) cooperates with the Mine Action Center to strengthen the national humanitarian demining system, improve the certification of operators, and ensure the quality control of mine action activities in Ukraine.

The partnership includes coordination in technical and non-technical survey activities, personnel training and qualification programs, knowledge exchange, and the implementation of international IMAS standards.

The Mine Action Center is a state institution responsible for implementing national mine action policy, maintaining the Register of Humanitarian Demining Operators, conducting accreditation, and overseeing compliance with national and international standards during field operations.

Cooperation between ISD and MAC aims to enhance the efficiency and transparency of humanitarian demining in Ukraine, ensuring high-quality results and effective coordination between governmental and non-governmental actors in the field of safety and reconstruction.
