Explosive Ordnance Risk Education (EORE)

The goal of risk education is to increase awareness and understanding of potential dangers caused by mines and other explosive ordnance.

How We Inform

Meetings, media, printed materials

We deliver safety messages during direct meetings with the public — both formally (lectures, seminars, gatherings) and informally (in personal communication), through media and communication channels, as well as by distributing posters and leaflets.

Goals of Risk Education

Accessibility, effectiveness, safe behavior

  • Delivering information on risks to the most vulnerable groups through all available communication channels.

  • Improving the effectiveness of training through educational activities with community representatives, state and non-governmental organizations.

  • Identifying causes and motivations behind risky behavior in areas contaminated with explosive ordnance.

  • Forming social norms and practices of safe behavior among the population.
