Underwater, there may remain invisible but deadly traces of war. Shells, mines, explosive remnants — all of these pose a threat to people, ecosystems, and the economy. From now on, our team will begin eliminating this danger in aquatic environments.
The International Service Demining has successfully passed the required inspections and received a certificate from the Mine Action Center, granting authorization to carry out full-scale humanitarian demining of water areas.
We are now authorized to operate in:
Rivers, lakes, reservoirs, and other water bodies;
Coastal zones where explosive remnants may endanger transportation, fishing, agriculture, and recreation areas;
Areas where water infrastructure is critical for local communities.
All operations are conducted in accordance with international humanitarian demining standards;
Our specialists undergo regular training and certification;
We use modern equipment, including underwater metal detectors, sonar systems, and specialized robots;
After completion of the work, all sites undergo additional inspection and receive an official safety certificate.
Statistics show that unexploded ordnance often remains underwater — difficult to detect but easy to trigger.
Mines and explosives:
Block navigation routes;
Threaten tourist routes;
Endanger fishermen and small boat operators;
Cause environmental damage.
Humanitarian demining of water areas is not just a technical task — it’s about safety and restoring normal life for local communities.
