The International Service Demining Has Started Operations on a Field in Kherson Region

On June 16, the International Service Demining began humanitarian operations on an agricultural field of 71.9 hectares located in the village of Vysokopillia, Beryslav District, Kherson Region. The work is being carried out under a new contract commissioned by private entrepreneur Serhii Kvitko.

This field was identified as potentially dangerous due to its location in the area of active hostilities. The team of specialists is now conducting a technical survey to detect and remove mines and other explosive remnants of war left after combat activities.

The goal of the operation is to restore the field to a safe condition for further agricultural use. After the completion of demining, the cleared area will undergo certification in accordance with national standards and will be officially returned to the owner for use.

The works are carried out in compliance with all international mine action standards, involving certified specialists and modern equipment.
